I've ordered many cases in my life and this is about as good as it gets. I chose a red phone as the color stands out and it doesn't take long for me to find it when misplaced.  Installation took me about two minutes longer that it should have because I didn't ensure that the snaps were fully closed. The phone case is similar to a refrigerator container for protection. Once snapped into place, the contents are protected from the elements and nothing gets in or out. There are a series of six snaps along the two edges that need to be fully closed and snaped into place. It might take a little force to fully snap the locks into place.  One of my photos shows what one of the snaps looks like when closed.  These snaps also need to be fully closed for the touch screen to work effortlessly. If one of the snaps are not snapped, then the fingers won't make the proper contact with the phone screen. When all is snapped properly, the phone works well and is responsive to touch commands. Trapped air in the phone can impede the touch screens responsiveness. The solutions is easy just open the cover on the charging port and slightly press down on the cover glass to expel the air cushion that is trapped. Cleaning your phone is easy and simplified. You just need to clean, wipe, and dry the phone thoroughly before putting it in the case.  Once sealed you can just wash it under the sink with soap and water. The case gets the washing while the protected phone remains clean, dry, and operational.  Just make sure that you close the charging port before washing. In my case I don't have to worry about that because all my charging takes place magnetically when I place the case on my charger.  Sound is OK when leaving the charging port closed but it gets better when you open it when making phone calls. Other than that, I leave the charging port cover closed.  My phone unlocks with face recognition when using this case.  I have not bothered setting up the finger print option. I'm comforted to know that my expensive phone is well protected in situations where I may accidentally drop it.

I figured I would test this case for my 10 day trip to Dominican Republic. The case held up, and my phone did not break, so that is a plus. I have used those waterproof bags for your phone in the past, and my phone broke, also it was hard to use the touch screen. I wanted something more sturdy to use for my upcoming trip. After using it on and off for 10 days, the case has scratched a little. I also noticed towards the end of my trip some fog would build up in the inside (condensation) which means some water appeared to get through. When I would take my phone out to check it, there was no water, so I’m not sure. I wouldn’t leave your phone submerged under water for extended periods of time however it is a great case to use in and out of the pool and for some extra precaution. I planned to use it for snorkeling as well but ended up forgetting it at the resort! :(
